Is this Page really necessary Edit

Is there really a need for this page? Anything that comes out of scans should immediately be added to the articles (or if needed, have a new article created). There really shouldn't be a need for this page. - Plau 11:08, February 29, 2012 (UTC)

Yes it is necessary to have this page in the wiki, because there are still new mangas and ovas that are releasing, such as "Code Geass: Akito the Exiled," and "Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya." The manga and ova first releases will be in Japan. During that period till the time the ova and manga is released internationally, all contents that hasn't been released internationally will be classified as spoilers in this wiki. I'm pretty sure that contributors put spoilers in articles. So I specifically created this page so that contributors can put spoilers in this page, and users who did not watch the show yet will not have their ending spoiled. Most of the material that you classify as spoilers will never be released internationally (which you really mean to say the US, because many parts of Asia outside of Japan already has localized versions of the material.) So I don't really see a point of classify the material as spoilers. For example, R2's Picture dramas were never released in the US, under your system, they would be classified as "spoilers" too and therefore should not have a page by themselves. Also, was this a unilateral decision on your part, or did you consult another admin before making such a decision? If you did not, you should consult an admin before making major changes to the Wiki. - Plau 19:43, March 18, 2012 (UTC)
Everything on a wiki is a spoiler, for someone who is at some point in a series. Therefor I do not see the need to add spoiler tags at all. — SimAnt 02:03, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
