[edit] Summary

During the commemoration ceremony for the Specially Administrated Zone, Lelouch and Euphemia privately discuss Japan's future. She convinces him, and Lelouch summarily halts his rebellion, until he suddenly loses control of his Geass while jokingly telling her to kill all the Japanese. The Geass-influenced Euphemia orders a bloody massacre of the people attending the ceremony. Blaming himself, a resolute Lelouch decides to salvage the situation by declaring Euphemia's Specially Administrated Zone a trap to lure out the Black Knights, and commands his troops to defeat the Britannian forces, protect the Japanese, and stop Euphemia.

Plot:

Believing Euphemia's desicion of announcing to general prublic about the Special Administrative Zone of Japan as a wall for Zero's plans, Lelouch is making up his mind of how to deal with it. If only Euphemia's not his well-cared sister, he might've killed her sooner.

Meanwhile, Cornelia doesn't approve about Euphemia's decision, but is unable to do anything about it since it has been approved by Schneizer. So as been announced, the Britannian Empire gathered about the commemoration ceremony for the said Special Administrative Zone Euphy held. As they waited for Zero's departure, the Empire was arguing about if Zero was going to come or not.

Meanwhile, despite of his disapprovement with the announcement and Euphemia herself, Lelouch decided to come to the ceremony. He came into two consequences why he decided to come: the first is he doesn't want to fail Euphemia with her high hopes for him and Zero; the second is when he sought Nunnally about Euphemia, asking if Nunnally likes her. Nunnally said yes, with adding "You do too, don't you?" Lelouch also agreed, but has thought "I DID."

When Zero did arrived in the ceremony, All Elevens cheered while all Britannians moped. Euphemia was very relieved about Lelouch's desicion to join her with the Administrative Zone of Japan, and she even showed her pride about Schneizer's approval. Zero arrived with C.C. transporting with a knightmare, while the rest of the Order of the Black Knights waited a few distance away from the ceremony according to Zero's orders. They also started to predict about what Zero is going to do in there, including killing Euphemia.

When Zero faced Euphemia, Euphemia began to clear about the agreement they have with each other. Zero, interrupting her speech, suddenly requested to talk to her alone. Euphemia felt Zero suspicious, but she never minds it since she knows Zero is Lelouch, and Lelouch is her half-brother. She agreed then, but Suzaku feels it is bad for Zero and the princess to be alone together, so he offers himself to be with Euphemia along with Zero. Euphemia disagreed, saying it'll be fine. Euphemia and Zero talked to a very empty room, with no lights, no cameras nor any media sources as Zero requested. There, Zero tried for Euphemia to understand that he doesn't approve for the Special Administrative Zone of Japan, since Zero has no intention of saving Japan from Britannia. He only fight because of Nunnally and because of the weak. He even readied a gun targeted to Euphemia, but Euphemia doesn't understand about what he's trying to do. Zero admits he has the power for Euphemia follow his every command, including taking suicide. Euphemia just laughed, considering it only a joke. Zero tried to persuade Euphemia that she has no right to decide what Zero will do or don't--asking her if she just felt awe for Lelouch that's why she held such administration. Euphemia laughed once more, clearing she did all of this for Nunnally, because she truly understands that Lelouch is fighting to create a wonderful and peaceful world for her. She also added that she no longer in need for the throne, that she will leave everything to her sister Cornelia and remains as the Imperial Vicereine. With that, Zero was encouraged, deciding to agree with Euphemia's administration.

Meanwhile, while Suzaku is waiting for the two, he sighted C.C. riding Zero's knightmare, who has to be unseen. Realizing Suzaku has saw her, C.C. gets down from the knightmare to talk with him. But she suddenly became weak as she felt the same feeling when Mao's geass was uncontrollable. Suzaku rushed to help her, but as soon as he got reach of her, C.C.'s geass activated on him and was now again suffering from his memories. He then fell unconcious.

When relieved with Euphemia's true intentions, Lelouch then continues admitting about the special power he have, the power to follow every little of his command. Once he activates it to Euphemia and orders to shoot him or Suzaku or anyone else, she will follow with no hesitation. Euphemia laughs with his brother's "joke". Zero kept saying he's serious, even saying that "If I order you to kill all Japanese, you will follow me." This time, Lelouch's geass activated--this time permanent--and the order came straight to Euphemia. Euphemia tries to resist with that order, and she successfully aborted Lelouch's geass. However, the geass was strong, and she was completely surrounded with that power. Following Lelouch's undesired command, Euphemia quickly grabs Zero's gun and ran towards the waiting stadium. There, Lelouch realizes that he's now like Mao, unable to control the geass. He ran after Euphemia, but is unable to catch up when she has reached the stadium. Controlled with geass, Euphemia stated on what way she wants the Elevens to be killed, thus ended the statement when she ordered the knightmare pilots to shoot every single one of them. At first, they thought Euphemia was just joking or acting insane, but she suddenly shoots a common Eleven. There, the knightmares followed her, and they began to shoot each and everyone of them. Zero, when arrived, declared "Euphemia has betrayed us! Stop the Britannians! Save the Japanese!" He suddenly become teary-eyed as he said: "Kill Euphemia!"

The news of Euphemia's massacre reached the whole world since it was a live worldwide broadcast. The Order of the Black Knights hurried towards the treasoned ceremony, still unaware of Euphemia's real intentions. When Suzaku was now relieved, he found out about the massacre of the Elevens and received the news it was Euphemia who ordered it. Suzaku was shocked, believing Euphemia cannot do such thing. He then sought for Lancelot and searched for Euphemia himself. He saw many Elevens bathing with blood, and knightmares kept shooting with the rest of the alive. Suzaku keeps of reminding himself that Euphemia's kindness and sincerity cannot end in this kind of treason.

The Order of the Black Knights arrived and also saw the same scene. Zero keeps ordering: "Euphemia only used us. She betrayed us and all of the Japanese. She proclaim the Administrative Zone of Japan a laugh. Now our mission is to stop her--even if it means her life!" This made Kallen very angry at Euphemia, and she declares she will be the one to kill her. Not long, Kallen encounters Suzaku, and they both fight. Suzaku keeps ignoring Kallen, saying he has no time for fighting her.

Zero first saw Euphemia in a knightmare. Euphemia kept repeating the statement "Kill the Japanese", as a result of Lelouch's geass. They both face each other one on one, with Euphemia saying the words she's unaware of saying. Zero wants to end this, made everyone believe that it is Euphemia who's the traitor and a true criminal. When Suzaku arrived and saw Euphemia, he was very relieved. With much regret, Lelouch shot her and this makes Suzaku red with hatred. With no hesitation, Suzaku destroys everything in his way just to arrive in time to save Euphemia. Suzaku catches her and flies away to the nearby hospital and encourages the doctors to save her no matter what happens. Lelouch stays there, teary-eyed, as he said he have considered Euphemia his first love.

But this disappointing scene began to fade away as Zero stepped in the stadium and declared about Euphemia's treachery, while the remaining Elevens cheer for Zero and kept saying foul words about Euphemia such as "Go to hell". There, Area 11 nicknamed Euphemia as the "Massacre Princess".
