Augusta Henry Highland (オーガスタ・ヘンリ・ハイランド, Ōgasuta Henri Hairando), also known as Grand Duke Velaines (ヴェランス大公, Vu~eransu taikō), is a proud Britannian noble who serves as the suzerain overseeing the European territories of Britannia known as Euro Britannia.

Personality

He is shown to be chivalrous and honorable as he disobeyed Julius Kingsley when he gave the order to attack the EU as it would harm innocent civilians.

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled

He was temporarily incapacitated by orders of Julius Kingsley and the Euro Britannia was placed under the House of Lords and the Knight Orders only for they themselves to be overthrown by Shin Hyuga Shaing. However, after Shin's defeat and death at the hands of W-0, Augusta was restored to power, although now under more direct control and oversight from the Britannian Homeland as the empire continues its conquest of the Europia United.
